Poppy Hills Golf Course; known for being a small slice of heaven in the world of professional golf courses, will open its lush grounds to the general public on Sunday – June 19, 2016 for the second annual “Father’s Day” Blues Festival In The Forest.
The event is on course to keep its festival an intimate and memorable experience for blues music enthusiasts, by offering a limited amount of tickets. Five bands will perform throughout the day and will include legendary blues musician Chris Cain with special guest Daniel Castro, Tammi Brown, Al James Band, Wolf Hamlin and the Front Porch Drifters and the Monterey Jazz Festival High School All-Star Combo.
Members of Poppy Hills created the event specific to Father’s Day, to provide an enjoyable time for individuals and couples with, or without children. In addition to the the live blues music, an elaborate kids-zone will provide an exhilarating safe-haven for kids, while gourmet food trucks and craft beer will satisfy the most critical of palates for attendees who are twenty-one years of age and over.
The all-age festival opens its doors at 12:00pm and will close at 6:00pm. Low profile lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged for lawn seating. Entrance into Pebble Beach is complimentary with your $25 ticket purchase and parking is FREE. There is no charge for children 8 years of age and under, while kids between the ages of 9-17 are $10.
